Why should I have my air ducts cleaned?
Over time, dust, dirt, allergens and molds gather in your HVAC system and continue to circulate. Cleaning your system will produce clean healthy air circulation inside your home or commercial building. Besides breathing better air, you will also save energy and have your AC system and furnace last longer with fewer breakdowns. Finally, reducing dirt and dust will help keep your home or building cleaner.
Is Mr. Power Clean’s work guaranteed?
Yes! We will clean your HVAC system to your satisfaction. In fact, we document EVERY air duct system we clean with photos so you can be sure of the results.
How long does it take to have my home’s air duct system cleaned?
Mr. Power Clean is the most thorough and time efficient duct cleaning company in northeast Wisconsin. Because of the power of our equipment and the experience of our technicians we can get large amounts of work done in short periods of time. Even so, the typical residential cleaning will take a 2-person crew between 1 1/2 to 4 hours to complete.
How often should I have my HVAC system cleaned?
We recommend cleaning every 5 years. However, frequency of cleaning depends on several factors. Some of the things that may lead a homeowner to consider more frequent cleaning include:
- smokers in the household
- pets that shed high amounts of hair and dander
- water contamination or damage to the home or HVAC system
- residents with allergies or asthma who might benefit from a reduction in the amount of indoor air pollutants in the home’s HVAC system
- after home renovations or remodeling
- prior to occupancy of a new home
Why does National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA) membership and certification matter?
NADCA members, like Mr. Power Clean, have signed a Code of Ethics stating they will do everything possible to protect the consumer and follow ACR, the NADCA Standard, for cleaning to the best of their ability. Also, all NADCA members must have a certified Air System Cleaning Specialist (ASCS) on staff who has taken and passed the NADCA certification examination. Passing the exam demonstrates extensive knowledge in HVAC design and cleaning methodologies. ASCSs are also required to further their industry education by attending seminars in order to maintain their NADCA certification status. In addition to our ASCS, all of our technicians have completed NADCA Ventilation Maintenance Technician (VMT) training.
